I don’t think that anyone will forget this day. It was a day when our innocence was taken and our fear was taken to a whole new level. It’s been 9 years since that fateful morning and it’s almost hard to believe.
In 2007, when I started my radio show, I wanted to do a show to see where everyone was on the morning that changed all of us forever. I posted a request on MySpace for stories and they came from all types of people from all over the world. My plan that night was to have people call in and share their stories and then I would read some from the stories that people sent me.
When the show aired the switchboard wouldn’t work and I couldn’t pick up any calls. I decided to just read the submitted stories until the switchboard worked again. It didn’t work the entire show but what I have is an amazing collection of stories of fear, shock, and witnesses of tragedy that still remains as THE most downloaded show after 3 years on the air and nearly 300 shows.
Feel free to listen to the show and feel free to answer the question: Where were you on September 11, 2001?
